Where the standard Gravity Floor and Table Lamps are cut from single marble blocks, the Upcycled-Edition seizes the opportunity presented by the offcuts, salvaging pieces of waste marble from the process and transforming them into bases for new lights. Rather than using inherently limited virgin materials, GUBI has developed a technique for upcycling stone that would usually be discarded as waste into a high-value product.
